Wouldn't "registration" as used in the article mean the purchase details were sent to the authorities, so they could investigate/stop a potential escape attempt?
- SV_BubbleTime 9mo agoRegistration always precedes confiscation. Even if the devices were registered, you might be up and away before they figure it out. But if another family flew away, that registration list would be handy door to door.
