This made me think back to Wordsmith (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wordsmith_%28TV_series%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wordsmith_%28TV_series%29). It was the show that got me from a young age thinking about how you break up and form words, etc. To this day in my head from time to time I'll often play over words, breaking them up and similar (as though getting a 'taste' for the word). I wonder if perhaps this show might be of benefit as well to the son of the submitter.
