Those of you old enough to remember when Google said the exact same thing about clearly labeled ads can make your bets on how long it will take for those ads to be indistinguishable from the content.
Given how quickly OpenAI is running through the entshittification guidebook I'd say 5 years.
- devonbleak 9mo agoI think that's overly generous. OpenAI already has a track record of going back on what they say with the whole non-profit/for-profit thing. I give it a year with how fast they're lighting cash on fire.
