It's regular practice to block arbitrary websites in EU countries. From Spain to Germany to Italy, DNS blocks are common.
Naturally "rightsholders" abuse this often.
- adrr 9mo agoCommon in all countries. US will seize domains from TLDs under US jurisdiction.
- anonzzzies 9mo agoI only know this to be done for televised sports, notably soccer here in the EU. Looking at those block lists, they are mainly streaming sites.
