Could they have contacted Apple before accusing them of blocking chunked uploads? Also yes. I haven't posted this in other sites besides HN. I see no reason not to draw attention to this. Are my points false? I'm not sure how they are doing upload retries now, but they used to do while (1) {} with no backoff, esentially wasting bandwidth, and possibly causing hundred-dollar bills. I don't recall them warning people of this. Shouldn't they take some responsibility?
