I've had this kind of idea when I was thinking about becoming a teacher that maybe in the future it will be more common to have a split career of, in the 40 hrs work week tradition, manual labor / trade for ~20 hrs/week and a "cognitive" job at like ~20 hrs/week (or however many hours) This would allow workers to exercise both mind and body
