- 4ad 14y agoFrom command mode, it's the same, from insert mode you need to know how to get to command mode, so it's harder to get out of vi compared to ed.
- trankas 14y agoBack in my college years, the first time I tried the Vim editor, I couldn't quit the editor, but was knowledgeable enough to kill Vim's process. And yet, later on, when understood the editor's philosophy, I felt enlightened.
