- unalone 18y agoIt could also be signs of vanity. Reddit went downhill after a month of a ton of people writing Ask Reddit posts. I'm not saying we have that problem, but usually, the presence of a topic like this is just taking away from an external news story.
- pg 18y agoI already penalize Ask HN posts (or more precisely, url-less ones) significantly in the ranking algorithm. That seems to keep them from taking over the front page.
- anuraggoel 18y agoSo 'pgrank' is much more advanced than we think.
