Putting sauce on steak is blasphemy for a lot of people. It's not something normal unless it's the customer adding it to their own meat.
- ceejayoz 10mo agoThis is true for A1 or ketchup. If you order a steak au poivre, it’s gonna have sauce.
- t-3 10mo agoFrench food having sugary sauces has nothing to do with American food having too much sugar though, and I'd wager 99% of the US has never heard of steak au poivre. We may know of pepper steak, but that doesn't always have sauce.
