Exasol Personal – Democratizing Big Data Analytics
- data-something 9mo agoGreat news will give it a try over the weekend
- geab 9mo agoI would like to see your feedback and the intended use case for you. Thanks
- zX41ZdbW 9mo agoThis is good news. I was trying to add Exasol to ClickBench (https://github.com/ClickHouse/ClickBench/ https://github.com/ClickHouse/ClickBench/) since 2016, but it was not possible due to the limitations and the fact that it required using a custom virtual machine image. Now we should try it again...
- zX41ZdbW 9mo agoThis is bad news: it is not usable: > 5.3 Licensee may not disclose any benchmarking or results of evaluating the Software without Exasol´s prior written consent
- astigsen 9mo agoThis seems like a leftover from the old enterprise licenses. I will see if we can get that changed. We'll be happy to be part of Clickbench. Reach out to me and we can work together to make it happen.
- anotheric 9mo agoWhat's the difference between this and the docker version?
- exasol_nerd 9mo agoThis version doesn't have a hard data limit (10GB for docker). I find there's a use for both - but if you really want to push or test the platform with a large amount of data then Personal is a good choice
- anotheric 9mo agoI'll try this for a POC, thanks for the explanation!
- pella 9mo agoWe need a free solution for community-driven projects (like OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, ... ~ solution for a large multi-user collaborative projects )
