Isn't it kind of logical that if you knew that if you got on the radar of the authorities that you'd be deported, that you'd do your best to avoid committing any crime (even a minor one)? And even if that's totally illogical, doesn't it make sense that most people aren't convicted criminals, even those who immigrated here illegally?
