- Aurornis 10mo agoI’d bet almost everyone who opts to buy the $200 plan is happy with the deal they’re getting relative to API pricing. I think some people get triggered by the inconsistency in pricing or the idea of having a fixed cost for somewhat vague usage limits. In practice it’s a great deal for anyone using the model at that level.
- piokoch 10mo agoIt is not unlimited, being not careful with your context management, you hit the limits quickly.
- abhijat 10mo agoIsn't the context window the same for all plans, 200k? You would hit usage limits?
- billyjobob 10mo agoIf you send the full 200k tokens on every request you will get very few requests before you hit the token limit. Caching reduces the number sent but I don't know how much they can cache?
- mhast 10mo agoEven at the Max plan it's not unlimited. IIRC they say the limit is something like 20x the $20 plan. With "normal use" you're unlikely to hit the limit though, unless you only use the Opus model and do things in parallell.
