Show HN: I built an AI that calls you until you wake up
The Morning Struggle:
Every night you promise yourself you'll wake up early, be productive, start that workout, finally tackle your goals. But morning comes and that alarm? It's just noise. You hit snooze, roll over, and another day slips away. You're not lazy - you're just tired of being tired.
The WakeCall Solution:
What if your wake-up call felt like a friend who genuinely cares about your success? Someone who knows your name, your goals, and believes in you? Our AI doesn't just wake you up - it connects with you, motivates you, and starts your day with purpose.
- anishgupta 9mo agoIt calls on phone, my problem is my phone speaker
- rahma_tm 9mo agoI built this because alarms didn’t work for me, I’d snooze without thinking.
- anigbrowl 9mo agoMy goal immediately after waking up is to go pee, brush my teeth, wash my face etc. I don't need a robot companion to talk to once I'm out of bed.
- rahma_tm 9mo agoThe call is only meant to break the first barrier - getting out of bed. Once you’re up, it ends. After that, it’s just your normal routine.
- anigbrowl 9mo agoI really don't know who is going to answer a call that they know is from an AI and listen to a motivational speech to before getting out of bed, but good luck.
- k310 9mo agoIf I wanted that, I'd remarry my ex. She didn't believe in me all that much, but was an R.N. and therefore pretty level-headed and never hallucinated. Gave me a wonderful daughter, so I remain on good terms. Computer don't do that! I do have a very regular diurnal cycle. I wake for sunrises. Got a fine one this morning. Not easy to throw on a jacket and Birks so early and chilly, but Mother Nature so often puts on a light show. Nothing artificial!

- rahma_tm 9mo agoTotally fair. I built this for people who don’t have that rhythm anymore (late work, screens, stress) and need an external nudge just to get out of bed. Like me!
