This got me wondering for quite a long time: I'm pretty sure almost all EC2 issues happen on the US east region -- why is that? Is it because it's the most used region?
- sudhirj 14y agoThink so... it's the cheapest, and is the default choice. Sounds like it would have an order of magnitude more usage (and therefore problems) than the other regions.
- rplnt 14y agoThe US-East-1 is also spread across more than 10 datacenters, which doesn't make things easy. Might not be true for other, more expensive, regions.
