Go look, you see these types of articles every year, not just 2016.
- microtonal 9mo agoIn other years, the US was not threatening to annex allies, blow up NATO, etc. To speak in Hacker News terms, the world is slowly and increasingly faster going to rebase away from the US. Sadly for the US, their biggest arch enemy (besides DEI), China, is going to benefit from it hugely. Frenemies that play according to a rule book are more worthy than frenemies that have gone insane.
