I personally thought calling upon the Monroe doctrine to invade a nation in the western hemisphere and take over their resources was a tad ironic, but I'm no expert on foreign policy.
- ReptileMan 10mo agoThe common thing between countries and men is that all of them are not created equal. It is absolutely not ironic. The US view has been consistent that there is only one power in the western hemisphere and that is US. The US has the economy and military to make the others agree with them.
