I keep thinking there's got to be some other shoe to drop because even Marco Rubio couldn't be so stupid as to just kidnap Maduro and call it a day, could he?

- clanky 10mo agoAs dysfunctional as the U.S. state has become, I doubt that they're allowing Rubio to move big chess pieces around to settle his personal scores.
- bediger4000 10mo agoI thought it was widely believed that Rubio was running US foreign policy in zones that aren't Trump's personal interests, like Ukraine. I feel like Rubio and Gabbard could indeed have convinced Trump and Hegseth to do this, and not have much in the way of a follow-up plan. It worked for Bush in Iraq and Afghanistan!
