- clanky 9mo agoThe whole thing is especially funny after the rah rah Merica crowd was crowing and beating their chests in the immediate aftermath of the operation. I keep thinking there's got to be some other shoe to drop because even Marco Rubio couldn't be so stupid as to just kidnap Maduro and call it a day, could he?
- jaggs 9mo agoRubio's goal is apparently (?) to cut off oil to Cuba by blockading Venezuela. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY5f_VQhy84 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY5f_VQhy84
- clanky 9mo agoAh yes, Cuba, the true prize of the Caribbean lmao
- DustinEchoes 9mo agoRubio has personal beef with Cuba.
- clanky 9mo agoAs dysfunctional as the U.S. state has become, I doubt that they're allowing Rubio to move big chess pieces around to settle his personal scores.
- bediger4000 9mo agoI thought it was widely believed that Rubio was running US foreign policy in zones that aren't Trump's personal interests, like Ukraine. I feel like Rubio and Gabbard could indeed have convinced Trump and Hegseth to do this, and not have much in the way of a follow-up plan. It worked for Bush in Iraq and Afghanistan!
- verzali 9mo agoWho's going to not allow him? They are the ones running the place.
