Its on the frontpage because antirez is the author of redis. Who knows what prompted this but seems like its coming from way out of left field. Digging a bit into his blog archives, this seemed to be the only post that wasn't about redis. I understand what he's trying to say, but the self-contradiction ("I think it is always an error to talk about sexism, but I'm going to talk about it anyway") shows that he's missing whatever point he's trying to respond to. Plus, its not at all a different take.
