I would recommend asking your medical practitioner about enteric-coated forms. I am nearly nine months into NSAID gastritis from only a week of daily 75mg soluble Aspirin. I have had more painful acute illnesses in the past, but the grind of a long-term illness is new to me and it has been absolutely terrible.
