The math animation library ManimCE had many of its assets deleted by an attack
- Darylgolden 9mo agoPosting as a member of the dev team. ManimCE is a fork of the animation library created and used by 3b1b. The assets are the Discord server, GitHub organization and X account. Discord has refused to restore our server or provide our server data, stating they don't have a team or process to handle either request. If anyone has contacts within GitHub to expedite our ticket, or contacts within Discord to appeal their decision, please let us know!

- fjfaase 9mo agoI understand that nobody created a local clone of the repository.
- behackl 9mo ago[dead]
- chris-besch 9mo agoWe do have clones of the git repos (mirror at https://codeberg.org/ManimCommunity https://codeberg.org/ManimCommunity). Issues, PRs and the Discord server are another story...
