Food Delivery company maintains a „desperation score" to pay drivers less
- pavel_lishin 10mo agoA non-removed Reddit post: https://old.reddit.com/r/confession/comments/1q1mzej/im_a_developer_for_a_major_food_delivery_app_the/ https://old.reddit.com/r/confession/comments/1q1mzej/im_a_de... This feels like a weird whistleblow without explicitly naming the company, no? What's the point of being coy?
- viraptor 10mo agoIt's a bit incoherent with both "won't tell you which one, it's a secret confession" and "I'm a developer who handed in notice yesterday". Also, I tried to find anything listing those 2 fees and nothing seems to come up. I'm suspicious about this being real. (I mean this specific case - we do have the proof of similar bad behaviours already)
- 4d4m 10mo ago(My understanding was) the OPs implication is that every delivery company is doing this and there are no actors not exploiting this.
