I know this is meant as rhetorical snark, but facebook is by far the most popular social network on the planet, so it just sounds silly.
- not_a_bot_4sho 9mo agoYou're right. But there's a generational aspect to this too. Younger generations won't touch Facebook. It's seen as a platform for "old" people. So Facebook is on a modest decline. (Enter Instagram and Tiktok and all that to fill the void...)
- root_axis 9mo agoThis is a myth. Unless people in their 20s are now considered old.
- conception 9mo agoYounger western generations perhaps. 3 billion people use Facebook still.
- owebmaster 9mo agoIt doesn't sound silly and Facebook is definitely not as relevant as it was 10 years ago.
- root_axis 9mo agoThe data indicates this is just objectively wrong. So yeah, it's silly to suggest people aren't using the most popular social media site in the world.
- owebmaster 9mo agoYour own data indicates that Facebook is as relevant as ever? Show that to meta they would love it!
