    What? LLMs invent things (hallucinate) all the time. I used 250m opus 4.5 input tokens this month.

      I think "confabulation" is the word. "Hallucinations" imply being fooled by false external stimuli.

    This is a hasty comment - but I Vouched it anyway for discussion. They could just be bad at prompting (remarkably common amongst engineers who don’t manage humans well), they could be using a “tired” free account (these free accounts are so widely variable in effort it’s actually shocking).
