If you know in advance you're going to be downvoted, you're conceding that you're not willing to bother trying to engage in this discussion in the spirit of curious conversation. Bludgeoning people over the head with your points, each prefaced with the word "fact" in all-caps is not curious conversation and is not the intended use of HN. We want this to be a place where difficult topics can be discussed and heterodox positions can be presented, but that can only happen if people make an effort to be conversational and persuasive rather than belligerent.
