Having a Synology 2 bay NAS myself and also using the Time Machine feature - what do you find sucky about it?
From my experience it does work, although I never experienced it, say, using a Time Capsule or similar?
- myvoiceismypass 9mo agoIt corrupts all the time - does not seem to handle network changes/disconnects very well when Time Machine is doing its thing. I am currently facing (XYZ time machine folder is on the synology): 'Time Machine detected that your backups on “xyz Time Machine Folder” can not be reliably restored. Time Machine must erase your existing backup history and start a new backup to correct this.'
