I have no need for a PiHole currently, but I will likely set one up if that happens.
- DetectDefect 10mo agoDNS blocking is entirely insufficient compared to DOM interception and filtering, especially with domain fronting.
- dogma1138 10mo agoPiHole is nearly useless these days. It doesn’t block the majority of the ads and DNS blacklisting on its own breaks websites. The only way to do ad-blocking these days is with DOM manipulation.
- somebehemoth 10mo agoThis is not my experience at all. pihole blocks a massive amount of ads in my home. It is extremely rare that any website ever breaks.
