Ask HN: Do you have an exit plan for Slack?
If Slack would increase price too much or go rogue with unbereable ToS terms, how screwed would your company be today?
- toomuchtodo 10mo agoMattermost.
- toomuchtodo 10mo agoZulip seems to be preferred, as Mattermost is twiddling towards enshittification, which I was not aware of when I made the comment above. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46383980 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46383980

- fittingopposite 10mo agoThinking about the same. Anyone experiences with Zulip vs Matrix/Element? Both seem to be the only true and mature foss solutions Dabbled with both a bit and so far felt that Zulip is a bit more polished and communication friendly. Use case is for a small startup (around 10 people and growing). Thoughts?
- alexpham14 10mo agoI just lived Politehub, it could be an alternative for Slack, kindly give it a try, guys!
- petabyt 10mo agoIMO Zulip is better than matrix in every way. But I haven't used matrix in a few years now.
