I find it interesting that, at the the end of the article, the point is made that failing to find evidence in the relevant measurement doesn't necessarily indicate that we're not in a simulation, followed straight after by the remark that it is worth making so as to rule out that we're living in one. Isn't that a lot like giving a null hypothesis and suggesting we go out and prove it?
