Pantograph: Building a preschool for robots
- v9v 9mo agoAnyone else have problems getting the videos to load or is it just me?
- aranibatta 9mo agoReminds me of the GDM robots! I'm super excited about getting to play with one soon! https://www.techeblog.com/google-deepmind-ai-mini-humanoid-robots-soccer/ https://www.techeblog.com/google-deepmind-ai-mini-humanoid-r...
- g413n 9mo agoso cool :)
- nee1r 9mo agohow are you planning on getting the robots to learn a base policy from scratch? seems hard without a base model
- robertvc 9mo agoVery cool. The dexterity of these grippers (and/or skill of the operators?) is better than I expected; the scissors and screwdriver demos were quite nice.
- EricButton 9mo agolove this
- SequoiaHope 9mo agoThis is very cool! Small note that an image of the robot at the top of this page might help draw the reader in. The first video doesn’t show the robot well. A frame from the wooden blocks video would be a good source for this image and communicate intent via photograph effectively. What a cute little machine.
- vsroy 9mo agoThe tele-op stuff is very interesting. Are there off the shelf SDKs for this type of thing or do you need to build it yourself?
- babyshake 9mo agoThis reminds me of a thought I have had that the future of education may involve a type of "school for robots" where the human students are the teachers. I am sure Neal Stephenson and others thought of this same thing decades ago but seems closer to becoming a reality.
