- bhouston 10mo agoWhy is the other one already off the front page? That is weird. It has a ton of upvotes.
- dav43 10mo agoSuper strange when there are several on the front page, older, with less votes and less comments. To say it’s off topic is a little narrow minded given the current environment
- ryandrake 10mo agoYou can watch these articles get user-flagged off the front page in real time by just refreshing. Lots of pro-administration brigading to censor this article (and similar ones).
- altairprime 10mo agoPleased email the mods when brigading is suspected; they have steps they can take in response, and explicitly ask us to do so when we suspect it’s occurring.
- wahnfrieden 10mo agoThere's a cohort here who impulsively downvote anything critical of the prez or a couple other such subjects. A small group is able to spoil the ranking determined by a much larger number of people upvoting. Flags are weighted much more heavily than upvotes. So as long as there's a flag-happy minority cohort around, they have their way.
- jasonvorhe 10mo agoHappens as well for the opposite takes. (not an American, not pro-Trump)
- wahnfrieden 10mo agoShow me a highly upvoted one that was flagged out
- jasonvorhe 10mo agoI read dozens of HN threads per week. I'm not bookmarking this stuff. Believe it or not.
- stblack 10mo agoA16Z is deeply MAGA.
- ofalkaed 10mo agoMany flag political/politically charged topics. The arguments which such topics often result in tend to overflow into other threads.
- pwthornton 10mo agoFascinating how this got leaked. A TV station in Canada accidentally ran the original episode version, implying that this was pulled super late and the episode was completely in the can.
- chakintosh 10mo ago"accidentally"
