I am surprised that a language with nothing than a couple of promises gets so much attention. Why exactly?
- squirrellous 10mo agoIIRC the author has a good track record with programming languages.
- steveklabnik 10mo agoI've been a member of this community for a long time. People also like hearing about new languages. I agree that it's not really ready for this much attention just yet, but that's the way of the world. We'll see how it goes.
- forgotpwd16 10mo agoOne of which the implementation is 100% vibe coded even.
- barnabee 10mo agoI think ~everyone wants a language that's kind of like Go with a Rusty type system (and maybe syntax), so any title like this gets attention. There's an obvious sweet spot in there.
