In fact they are referencing the phrase, of much later origin, "those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones".
- AnimalMuppet 11mo agoembedding-shape is quoting Jesus, who was in fact literally referring to killing people by throwing stones. (And, in fact, was talking to a mob that was literally about to do exactly that.)
- andrewflnr 11mo agoI'm thoroughly familiar with Jesus's words. By "they" I was referring to demarq, who I believe embedding-shape was misinterpreting.
