HTML shouldn't feature in javascript code IMHO.
- Xipe 14y ago> HTML shouldn't feature in javascript code IMHO. That's my beef above everything, createElement/DOM should be avoided. But for Google it's par for the course, their Google Closure introduction tutorial does just this even though they offer a templating system.
