My favorite phone battery hack is to solder some extra li-pol battery in parallel to the original one. The phone eventually becomes 2 times thicker of course but I do not consider the phone as the status symbol like a watch or a jacket. This is just a damn thing which is here to supply me with some connection. I hate powerbanks because they burn significant portion of extra energy for step-up converting.
