I’ve run dyson ultrasonic humidifiers for a few years. The whole appartment was in white dust. Especially evident on some black leather bags in the wardrobe.

  You can buy a cheap tester for TDS (total dissolved solids) for <$20. Test the water before pouring it into any ultrasonic humidifier.

    I just switched to evaporative ones like smartmi I’ve mentioned.
