"indefinitely immobilise"
That's called theft when translated from European Newspeak.
- saubeidl 10mo agoDon't leave your money with the people you're starting an illegal war of aggression against. That's called being an idiot in European realpolitik.
- drysine 10mo agoI don't remember Russian reserves being stored in the Ukraine.
- saubeidl 10mo agoI suppose Russians don't understand the concept of alliances.
- drysine 10mo agoOh, we do. I just don't see European men dying in the Ukraine.
- saubeidl 10mo agoLike it or not, Ukraine is European. Ukrajinci su naši. Why a country with a GDP smaller than Italy decided to mess with a super power, I don't know. But don't whine when you get your nose bloodied.
- drysine 10mo ago>Ukrajinci su naši No, Ukrainians are not nazi. The Kiev regime makes heroes out of Ukrainian nazi, both historical figures and present day ones, but you shouldn't generalize that to the whole population.
- saubeidl 10mo agonaši means ours, my slavic brethren.
- drysine 10mo agoUstaše[0] are not my brothers, but I see how you can sympathize with the regime that glorifies banderovtsy[1]. "Jewish and Serb organizations, Croat historians and antifascists, as well as international observers, have repeatedly warned of revisionism in Croatia, which seeks to minimize Ustaše crimes and even celebrates the Ustaše regime. Recent examples include the publication of a book celebrating "the Croatian knight" Maks Luburić, who as head of Ustaše concentration camps was responsible for over 100,000 deaths, during Ustaše genocides against Jews, Serbs and Roma, and a documentary minimizing children's deaths in Ustaše concentration camps." [2] In the Ukraine they translate and publish[3] memoirs of Nate Pavelich.[4] [0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usta%C5%A1e https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usta%C5%A1e [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banderite https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banderite [2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usta%C5%A1e#Modern-day_Croatia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usta%C5%A1e#Modern-day_Croatia [3] https://book-ye.com.ua/authors/ante-pavelich/ https://book-ye.com.ua/authors/ante-pavelich/ [4] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ante_Paveli%C4%87#Genocide https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ante_Paveli%C4%87#Genocide
- saubeidl 10mo agoSmrt fašizmu, sloboda narodu! Ante Pavelic was the Putin of the 20th century.
- drysine 10mo ago>Smrt fašizmu On that we can agree. >Ante Pavelic was the Putin of the 20th century. Pavelic organized genocide, they are not the same.

- belter 10mo agoIts called War Reparations when you are not paid in Rubles...
- drysine 10mo agoI don't think being paid in rubles is the necessary condition for knowing international law. "War reparations are compensation payments made after a war by one side to the other. They are intended to cover damage or injury inflicted during a war. War reparations can take the form of hard currency, precious metals, natural resources, industrial assets, or intellectual properties. Loss of territory in a peace settlement is usually considered to be distinct from war reparations. War reparations are often governed by treaties which belligerent parties negotiate as part of a peace settlement. Payment of reparations often occur as part of a condition to remove occupying troops or under the threat of re-occupation. The legal basis for war reparations in modern international law is Article 3 of the Hague Convention of 1907.[0] [0] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_reparations https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_reparations
