I don't really understand why Disney is paying $1B for this. Shouldn't OpenAI be paying Disney to avoid getting sued?
- twostorytower 10mo agoDisney will either get a multiple on their return on investment, or OpenAI will die anyways and their IP issue with it.
- thehappypm 10mo agoIt’s also setting a precedent that IP usage requires a contract. Never mind that the contract is bonkers!
