I worked for non-profits my whole career, and the hiring scene is completely fucked right now. I've never, in nearly 20 years in the sector, been unemployed for more than a few months at a time. It's been a year, half my LinkedIn contacts are also looking for work. Cannot recommend non-profits at the moment.
