I'm not sure these words mean what you think they do...
- MangoToupe 11mo agoYes, I would describe this as a liability. It costs more to implement basic html interpretation with zero benefit
- rerdavies 11mo agoThe benefit accrues to developers, who get more consistent behavior across browsers. In the bad old days, errors that one browser might silently recover from would trigger unspecified recover behavior on other browsers that wasn't consistent.
