I'm kinda surprised at how many people I know who have gotten VPNs as a result. Just a couple of weeks ago I was talking with a 12 year old in my family and he was showing me the free VPN apps him and his friends are using to get around the gov censorship. Basically all my friends are using VPNs now too, but I suppose I have more tech literate friends so many that's less surprising. But in general I get the sense if you're <50 and spend a decent amount of time online, you're probably using a VPN. It's kinda difficult to use the internet in the UK without one.
