- ahmedpablo 11mo agovery great tool bro, good job
- aiipassword 11mo agothank u bro
- ALhn909090 11mo agoYou know what I appreciate. The tool does not pretend to be something huge. It is focused. Paste link, get card, group them. That is it. And this solves a real problem for me because I research in bursts and I always lose track of what I found earlier. A heavy project management tool is too much. A plain text file is too little. This sits in the middle in a nice way. GREAT!

- sijsej2v 11mo agoThis is actually cute I always forget what link is what because they all look the same in the bookmark bar. Cards make this way easier to see

- aiipassword 11mo agoThanks for the comment. You can lose access only if you clear your browser cache or lose the device and also did not save the notebook URL anywhere. The notebook lives at one unique link, so saving that link keeps it safe even if the device is gone. If someone loses both the cache and the URL they can contact us at support@clipnotebook.com and we try to help recover it. I wanted the tool to stay simple with no forced accounts, but I may add an optional backup option later for extra safety.
- johndevHN 11mo agoI see. I still think many users will forget to save the URL, but at least the logic behind it is clear. Optional backup would be ideal, but I get why you want to keep it simple at this stage
- johndevHN 11mo agoah ok got it. makes sense. thanks for the detail.
- aiipassword 11mo agoYou are right. Some users will forget to save the URL, and that is the main drawback of a no account system. I chose this approach first because I wanted people to start using it in one second with zero setup. But I also agree that an optional backup would help the people who want more safety. I am testing a small optional backup flow that keeps the tool simple but gives an extra layer of protection for users who want it. The goal is to keep the zero friction feeling while giving a safe path for long term use. Thanks for pointing it out.
