- deanpcmad 14y agoIt says at the top that you need to allow VLC play to play the video...
- netvarun 14y agoI actually have it installed. But it couldn't load the video anyway. More critically, there was no gracious fallback. All I get is a completely broken page with absolutely no outgoing links or any textual content!
- avree 14y agoThe video is the only content on the page. If you don't have your system configured to play video (user error), why would you expect a fallback? There is, in fact, a little "X" that loads in the top left. http://elsewhe.re/Jwtz http://elsewhe.re/Jwtz
- thaumaturgy 14y agoOdd, it's not a Linux-wide problem. I'm running a variant of Arch with Chrome 21, worked fine for me.
- TazeTSchnitzel 14y agoAnd with Chrome on Ubuntu, like them, it worked fine for me.
- seqastian 14y agoworks for me with debian squeeze no plugins or media players installed
- ricardobeat 14y agoThe VLC Multimedia Plugin doesn't seem to exist anymore: http://askubuntu.com/questions/113411/chrome-embed-vlc-player-couldnt-playback-mp4 http://askubuntu.com/questions/113411/chrome-embed-vlc-playe...
