"What's so funny mom, another cat video?"
"No I don't watch those anymore, most of them are AI now... I don't like watching a fake cat."
Is this generation bounded, will young people enjoy an artificial reality?
Who knows, but my mom doesn't like it, it actually made her reality less enjoyable.
- ofalkaed 10mo agoAfter turning into a shutin during the shutdowns, my mom is finally starting to go out into the world again because of AI breaking the illusion of the internet having any semblance to reality.
- DaveZale 10mo agoBless her heart. And mind. Fun facts: Having a cat that hunts mice can result in toxoplasma infections in those who come into contact with their matter. Also, cat dander can drive many humans into an allegic fit.
