Oh man what a world it would be if browsers just interpreted scheme (or something close) instead of javascript
- int_19h 11mo agoThe original design for <script> was supposed to be extensible, and IE of all things actually allowed any "active scripting" engine to be used, so for a brief time you had things like Perl and Tcl as scripting languages, but only on Windows. We'll probably get there again with wasm, eventually. But it's taking a very long time.
