- kingstnap 10mo agoBlood <=> Suffering/Violence/Death is standard English. It's actually definition #2 on google "Blood: 2. violence involving bloodshed."
- epgui 10mo agoA lot of things that are “standard English” are not obvious, and not everyone has English as a first language.
- xorbax 10mo ago...it was pretty obvious. Did you assume it was literally dipped in human blood before export or something? I'm curious how the metaphor is so far from one's mind when reading.

- epgui 10mo agoIt took me a minute to figure out if they were talking about a biosafety problem or a labour safety problem. Maybe that’s just me.
