Well of course. If residents can't escape to the cheaper malls and stores outside of the city center, then they will begrudgingly spend their money there.
If I could hold my customers prisoner, then I'd also have a nice increase in sales.
- eesmith 11mo agoThose stores had to have been pretty far out as there was a "3.3% increase in spending across the whole of Madrid". Also, "Published Mar 08, 2019". There's been a lot going on since then, and from what I gather it's a quite contentious topic.
