If anything is mainstream, it’s BSD, because OS X is BSD.
- bigyabai 11mo agoOS X is XNU. BSD code is in the kernel and BSD tooling is in the userland, but the kernel isn't BSD in license or architecture.
- lern_too_spel 11mo agoLinux is the most-user kernel on consumer devices (Android) and servers by a very wide margin.
