I think the level of success one wants also require having a check for delusion and realism. If a "51 year old short limp" thinks they are going to be a star basketball player, they are delusional and no longer realistic.
- raw_anon_1111 11mo agoHow many people right here on HN have you seen over the years who built something and had no idea about marketing or a go to market strategy or knew anything about sales? That’s the equivalent of a 51 year old with a limp not being self aware enough to know that I don’t have the skills to be a basketball player just because I can dribble.
