- alexgotoi 11mo agoHey everyone, 9 weeks ago I started a validation process: 10 weeks, 10 issues of a newsletter which is simply a roundup of the most upvoted and most commented links AI-related. The success metric was simple: if I get 100 subscribers, I continue it. Today I am at 145 subscribers, most got from a few reddit posts in AI subreddits, so I will go on. - hopster 11mo agoHow this different than /best? I am long time subscriber of Hacker Newsletter, but /best is nowadays very similar to /best.
- alexgotoi 11mo agoBest is heavy focused on the top of the top of all topics threads. For some interested AI, this is like the best AI of the /best. Each week I get about 100 AI threads and I trim down to about 30-40 of those. My idea was that this will help with selecting the signal from the noise.
